Collective Curiosity: Fostering Growth Through Open Dialogue

When driving a car, you can easily see your speed. However, in a work environment, measuring "speed" can be subjective and varies from person to person. To work effectively as a real team, it's crucial to understand the desired pace for any given situation.
So how would you describe your operating speed, and how do you navigate geographical and cultural distances in your work?
This was the theme of the executive dialogue evening with the international leadership team of Gebr. Becker from Wuppertal, Germany, led by Dr. Dorothee Becker. It was facilitated by us at the stunning gallery at Fotografiska Shanghai.
International leaders encounter similar challenges, regardless of their location, facing cultural, regional, and operational hurdles in every aspect of their roles. Sharing experiences and openly discussing feelings can lead to valuable insights. This event reinforced the importance of frank conversation and highlighted each leader's passion for personal growth.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Gebr. Becker for hosting an inspiring gathering in Shanghai, and to our dear friends and partners who attended with open minds and truthfully shared their experiences. We leave this event feeling confident that there are always significant learnings to be gained from collective curiosity when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and open.
