2024
Steinbach & Partner celebrates 40 years of success as one of the world’s most renowned international HR consulting boutiques.
2023
Realignment: The shareholders Dr. Oliver Geb, Noriko Takagi, and Daniela Mesbah continue the company's business, while Dr. Peter Becker sells his shares and leaves the company.
Expansion of business activities between Europe and Asia: Fukuoka is established as a second location in Japan.
2020
Steinbach & Partner signs the Diversity Charter and is committed to a respectful, unprejudiced working environment.
2017
Pro Bono: Steinbach & Partner starts volunteering with Offroad Kids, an organization that supports street children in need.
The brand is given a new look: the company's corporate identity is completely overhauled.
Business with Japan continues and our Tokyo office opens.
2015
Steinbach & Partner receives the "Top Consultant 2015" award, as one of the best consultants in the HR consulting category for SMEs. This award will be followed by many more.
2014
Success joins forces: Dr. Peter Becker, Dr. Oliver Geb, Daniela Mesbah, and Noriko Takagi take over Steinbach & Partner. The original name Steinbach & Partner remains both company and brand name.
By continuing the company, the shareholders keep their promise to the quality of the brand: quality instead of quantity! Organic growth instead of rapid expansion, as well as a focus on sustainable customer relationships with an international reach.
2013
Daniela Mesbah, later shareholder and now Managing Partner, joins Steinbach & Partner and builds up the automotive sector focus.
The Hong Kong office is opened.
2012
With the entry of the later shareholder and current Managing Partner Dr. Oliver Geb, the healthcare division is established and expanded.
The office in Mexico City opens under the management of Liliana Herrera.
2011
The Shanghai office is opened.
Noriko Takagi, now a current Managing Partner, joins the company. Under her Leadership, the areas of coaching and assessment are strengthened and expanded. Her main focus is on advising the manufacturing industry and setting up locations in Asia.
2006
When Dieter Steinbach dies unexpectedly, his son Sebastian Steinbach takes over the management of the company. By this time, the mechanical engineer had already gained experience in supply chain management for an international group and was focusing on the further development of process optimization and quality as well as focusing on specific industries. His sister Emely Hahn, née Steinbach, works in the company's controlling department.
1984 - 2005
Within two decades, Dieter Steinbach builds the company into a specialist for personnel issues in management. With his guiding principle of 'good quality at reasonable prices', he successively expands Steinbach & Partner's consulting portfolio from classic recruiting to headhunting and interim solutions to outplacement consulting. At this time, Steinbach & Partner employs more than 120 people and has around 30 locations.

Steinbach & Partner is founded by Dieter Steinbach, based in Althütte near Stuttgart.
